10. Louisville
Rick Pitino did a masterful job coaching a young Louisville team to 25 wins and a third-place finish in the Big East last season. Now he's got a loaded and experienced roster to tinker with. Guard Peyton Siva, wing Kyle Kuric and big Gorgui Dieng will be the centerpieces for the Cardinals, but Pitino also can turn to Chane Behanan and Jared Swopshire, who missed all of last year with a groin injury. Pitino already has hit the hype meter on Behanan, calling him the best freshman he's coached since Jamal Mashburn. That could be an attempt to camouflage the bad news -- Pitino's other talented freshman, Wayne Blackshear, is likely out for the season with a torn labrum. At Big East media day, Pitino said the Cardinals would be excellent with Blackshear and very good without him. We'll soon find out if he was right. -- Dana O'Neil
