Amos Zereoue scores on first career carry

Aug. 31, 1996: Pitt was supposed to be vastly improved going into the 1996 season, but Panthers fans had to be scratching their heads after a 34-0 loss to West Virginia to open the season. Amos Zereoue took his first career carry 69 yards for a touchdown, a run that featured three broken tackles. The Mountaineers dominated the rest of the way in what would end up being Pitt coach Johnny Majors' final season.
