2011 Preseason All-America Baseball Team

Mike McGee
Right-handed pitcher/Outfield | Florida StateFormer teammate Buster Posey played all nine positions in a game, but that was for only one game. McGee routinely dominates two positions. The right-hander/left fielder has already strung together three double-duty seasons, earning freshman All-America honors, then ranking in the top 10 in the ACC in seven offensive categories as a sophomore before again leading Florida State in home runs and RBIs as a junior while transitioning to the bullpen to rack up 13 saves. McGee displayed his immense value in the 2010 super regionals against Vanderbilt by hitting a game-ending home run before recording a save two days later. All that success resulted only in McGee becoming a 41st-round flier by the Diamondbacks last June, so he's back as a senior.
