Inside Dabo Swinney's Office - View 1

Propped stealthily behind his desk, Swinney has his "escape" from the grind of college football. There's a postcard with a map of Boca Grande, Florida, Swinney's favorite vacation spot, along with a photo of he and his wife there on the Fourth of July and a landscape picture of the view from the back porch of his vacation home. "It's our favorite place to go," Swinney said. "It's just a little island, and it's kind of my escape."
Next to that is a notecard from shortly after Swinney landed the Clemson job. While attending a speaking engagement, Swinney was surprised to run into Bill Curry, his first college coach. Curry wanted to offer three pieces of advice on the new job, so Swinney quickly jotted it all down: Be true to yourself, always prioritize your family and be smart with your money. "I've kept [the card] and it just keeps me focused," Swinney said.
