Manny Pacquiao makes his return to Macau when he defends his welterweight belt against 140-pound titlist Chris Algieri. The fight will be contested at a catchweight of 144 pounds. For Pacquiao, who turns 36 in December, the bout is just another in his legendary career. But for Algieri, the unheralded American, the fight marks his first on the highest level. After upsetting Ruslan Provodnikov by debated split decision in June, Algieri made the unlikeliest of leaps to co-headliner of a major pay-per-view event. On Saturday, he will have the chance to prove whether he belongs.
