Upon walking into Petersen's office, there is a small, adjoining room off to the left, which he refers to as The Seattle Room because of the room's wallpaper -- a large black and white copy of the Seattle skyline.
"We can be in the other part of the office talking some ball, and then if we want to get away and get 'downtown,' we come five steps into The Seattle Room," Petersen said. "I don't spend a lot of time in here. I'm really not sure what it's for, but it's kind of cool."
A large screen TV sits on the far wall of the room and a few small, black-leather couches are arranged around a coffee table. A minifridge is in one corner; but like much of Petersen's new office, it doesn't hold too much. On one day this spring it held just a few water bottles and some yogurts.
The highlights of the room, like much of Petersen's office, are the open windows on the east end that peer onto the field and out toward Lake Washington's Union Bay.
