This stone comes from the Duke quarry. The school's chapel and quad are constructed of the same stone that, as Cutcliffe notes, "is crazy heavy."
Cutcliffe had a sculptor use a water pick to inscribe the school's insignia.
"This is the foundation," Cutcliffe said. "And I'm a big believer in a firm foundation."
