Vernon Hargreaves
Cornerback | FloridaThe Gators' top recruit in 2013 arrived with the expected hype of the nation's No. 3 overall prospect and lived up to it. A coach's son with advanced instincts and technique, Hargreaves was fluid in coverage from the start of his career and had interceptions in his first two games. He started 10 games as a freshman and was named a freshman All-American by the Sporting News as well as first-team All-SEC by league coaches and the Associated Press. He was second in the SEC in passes defended (1.17 per game), and his 11 pass breakups tied Janoris Jenkins' 2008 mark for the most by a freshman in Florida history.
