- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR5.5 New Zealand get their second, via another catch at deep square leg. Short ball on off stump, and it was there to be pulled, but Rahul ends up picking out the only fielder back on the leg-side boundary. A slight element of luck in the dismissal of both openers so far, perhaps evening out the Rohit drop slightly? 35/22.5 gone, he's picked out the man in the deep. Full, angling into the stumps, and Kishan times this pick-up shot beautifully, but ends up hitting it more or less straight to Mitchell at deep square leg. Only had to move a couple of yards to his left and let it fall into his lap. I think India will be okay with this. Feels like Kishan was sent out with the clear mandate to go hard from the start, and he did attempt it, even if the scorecard won't necessarily reflect it 11/17.4 poor ball - or that's what I was typing when he bowled it - but Rohit hasn't timed this at all, and another batter falls to a boundary(ish) catch. It's short outside off, and Rohit can free his arms through the pull, and he doesn't quite catch it properly. Guptill moves forward quickly from long-on, and takes an excellent catch tumbling forward. It's possible the ball skidded on a bit, and Rohit didn't quite get the leverage he was looking for 40/310.1 he's holed out to long-on! First ball after the drinks break. This is a lovely ball from Sodhi. A legbreak dipping outside off and inviting Kohli to come and fetch it. Kohli decides to take it on with a slog sweep but that dips on him very quickly and, as a result, manages to pitch and turn away a slightly. And that means he ends up slicing it and skying it high for long-on for an easy catch 48/414.3 inside edge and onto middle stump! The procession continues. Pant had been there long enough without getting a boundary and looked like he was ready to take the bowling on. But he's lost his shape on this and then his wicket. A length ball sliding in from outside off - on angle and length, it's there for the slog. But he hasn't managed to get behind the line of this and is gone 70/518.1 straight to long-off! Boult missed his mark last ball of his last over - this is the ball he was trying to bowl. Offcutter, good length and cutting away from middle and off. Pandya manages to make room but that grips and is going to get big on him on this pitch. He punches it firmly on the rise but the trajectory on that means it would never have gone the distance. Simple catch at waist height 94/618.4 taken at long-off. Good length and turning away from middle stump. Thakur plants the front leg down and looks to loft it straight. Not the pitch for it, a dolly for Guptill on the line 94/7Extras4 (lb 2, w 2)TOTAL110/7 (20 Overs, RR: 5.5)Fall of wickets: 1-11 (Ishan Kishan, 2.5 ov), 2-35 (KL Rahul, 5.5 ov), 3-40 (Rohit Sharma, 7.4 ov), 4-48 (Virat Kohli, 10.1 ov), 5-70 (Rishabh Pant, 14.3 ov), 6-94 (Hardik Pandya, 18.1 ov), 7-94 (Shardul Thakur, 18.4 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.4 slower length ball, looks like the offcutter, and that's brought India their first breakthrough. Looks to hit it straight, but ends up playing too early. Bottom hand comes off the handle as he loses control of his bat-swing, and he ends up hitting a high catch that Thakur just about holds on to after a juggle at mid-on 24/112.4 short of the boundary and short of a fifty. I think he was looking to hit this straight over the bowler, but it's a dipping slower ball and he's managed to get it straight to long-on. Full and just outside off, full face offered and all, but was done for by the cutter 96/2Extras7 (lb 1, w 6)TOTAL111/2 (14.3 Overs, RR: 7.65)Fall of wickets: 1-24 (Martin Guptill, 3.4 ov), 2-96 (Daryl Mitchell, 12.4 ov)
