7.45pm: Crikey Charlie, that escalated quickly! One in the eye for Forecaster - take a bow, Riaz Shaikh. Pakistan were going along quite nicely at 118 for 1 after 15, but the dismissal of Fakhar Zaman saw them kick into overdrive. The two Mos, Hafeez and Rizwan, smashed 67 off 26 balls, taking particular toll on JJ Smit's final over. Namibia might have been hoping to keep them to 160; now they'll need to try and chase 190. Can they give it a crack? Debayan will be back to find out shortly

Here's a word with Mohammad Hafeez: "I think it's about contributing. In the last two games I played with intent but couldn't score more runs. Good to have the momentum, a good platform, and for me to go out and express myself. [Rizwan] He's fantastic, he's in great form. After Babar got out he had to spend a bit more time. In the last overs he got his rhythm back. We wanted to test ourselves setting a total, put ourselves in a tough situation, and I think everyone responded well."

Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, 2 runs, full length in the channel and this time Rizwan can't find the rope, still picks up a couple as he scurries back and leaps for the crease - no signs of fatigue to beat the throw from deep cover. Brutal finishing from Pakistan, and Namibia will do well to come back from that

Pakistan have hammered 60 from the last 23 balls

4
Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, FOUR, c-r-u-n-c-h-e-d for four more! Short and wide and Rizwan sits back, hammers it into the open space at deep backward point again

Pakistan well on for 190 here...

19.4
4
Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, FOUR, pace off, cutter wide of the stumps... but Rizwan times it through backward point! Whatever Smit does, Rizwan has an answer. Just waits for a fullish ball to land, wrists cocked, then belts it for four
19.3
4
Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, FOUR, four more, top-edged over short third! He knew there wasn't a man back and threw the kitchen sink at a wide half-tracker
19.2
6
Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, SIX, another full toss, pumped over deep backward square! Misses the yorker by a few inches and Rizwan shows no mercy, takes it on the full and swings it just beyond the ropes
19.1
4
Smit to Mohammad Rizwan, FOUR, smoked down the ground, beats mid-off and Wiese can't get there running around from long-on either!

Last over, Smit to bowl. Can Pakistan prove Riaz Shaikh right and get up to 190...?

18.4
6
Wiese to Mohammad Rizwan, SIX, bludgeons a full toss over deep square leg! That's an emphatic way to go to fifty... Not quite so fluent tonight, but he's still piling on the runs, is Mohammad Rizwan. Eleventh 50-plus score in T20Is for him, all but one of them this year
18.3
1
Wiese to Mohammad Hafeez, 1 run, length in the channel, 107kph/67mph, Hafeez plinks a cross-batted shot down to long-off

18.1
2
Wiese to Mohammad Hafeez, 2 runs, another full bunger wide of the off stump, carved out to deep cover for a couple

So, Pakistan have got themselves up above 150, still two overs to go. Wiese is back for the 19th

Trumpelmann to Mohammad Rizwan, FOUR, Four more! Rizzy sweeps a full toss behind square! Gets across early, stays low and clouts it flat past the man on 45

17.4

17.2
4
Trumpelmann to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, top-edged to third, beats the full-length dive of the Wiese! He was millimetres short of getting his hands under that, but instead Hafeez gallops on his merry way
17.1
4
Trumpelmann to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, cute! The Professor has his sums worked out here... Hafeez stretches out to a full ball in the channel, and flicks it adroitly wide of the diving short fine leg for another four!

Trumpelmann to bowl his fourth

END OF OVER:
17 | 11 Runs | PAK: 138/2 | RR: 8.11

  • Mohammad Hafeez16 (8b)
  • Mohammad Rizwan44 (40b)
  • JJ Smit3-0-26-0
  • Jan Frylinck4-0-31-1

Fair observation, from Sm: "Hafeez and Fakhar haven't looked in the best of form. Batting first would be useless without giving them a run, even if it means less time for the men in form"

16.6
1
Smit to Mohammad Hafeez, 1 run, short ball, slugged out to deep midwicket. Hafeez is hoovering up every last chance to have a bat here
16.5
0
Smit to Mohammad Hafeez, no run, angled in straight, can't get this away
