Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Andrew Miller

10.24pm So, that's a wrap from Lahore. What a contest! It's lit up the tournament in its first week, and left the Group B permutations fully up for grabs. Join us again tomorrow for another mildly enticing clash... it's Pakistan versus India in Dubai! But from Miller, Gnasher and Vairavan, good night!

10.16pm The presentations are coming up. Here's Jos Buttler.

"A fantastic game, both sides played well, credit to Australia, fantastic innings from Inglis. 350 is a pretty good score, but it was wet and the dew was a worry. Duckett has been brilliant at the top of the order in all formats, he's been threatening a big contribution for some time. Shame it was in a losing cause. Everyone has played enough cricket to know you need to go on, but take the focus off yourself and focus on the big partnerships, Root and Duckett did that well. Root and Livi bowled well, created chances, but credit to Australia, we couldn't break that partnership, got to give credit to the opposition. Immense belief and optimism, if we keep putting 350 on the board we won't come second too often.

Steve Smith: "The guys were outstanding, Matt Short played beautifully, Travis and I the only two to miss out. We would have bowled first regardless, given how wet it got in training. It slowed up in the first innings and we thought 350 was chaseable. Looked like they'd get 400 but we trusted each other's skills, took pace off at the right times, hit hard lengths, squeezed and controlled the back end. Marnus bowled nicely too and took a few wickets. The two keepers have been batting beautifully, in great form, Josh didn't get out of second gear, shots all round the ground. I don't know if Josh still has an English passport, but he's not going anywhere!"

Josh Inglis is Player of the Match: "Over the moon, great win, 350, a lot of things have to go right. Pumped on a personal level. Not too much talk at half-time, knew it would be tough with the dew, skidded on nicely, knew it would be better batting second. Alex doesn't say anything when he bats, need to keep chipping away, with Maxi in the sheds, leave him to the last ten, we'd be a chance. Their part-time options are very handy, can't not respect their bowling, tried to tick over with the spin and knew at the back end the pace would skid on. One from one is important. we'll look to recover for the next game."

10.05pm What a match. The highest ODI chase in men's ICC events, and it puts Australia on course for a semi-final berth, as they match South Africa in winning their opening Group B fixture. It looked for a while as though England might have put 400 on the board, and to judge by the power of Australia's chase, they needed more up front, despite Ben Duckett's superb 165. That effort was trumped by a mighty unbeaten 120 from Josh Inglis, with key contributions from Short, Carey and Maxwell too. What might have been had Jofra Archer held onto that vital catch in the deep in Rashid's penultimate over?

Wood to Inglis, SIX, flipped up and over deep midwicket, where a tip over the rope seals it! Inglis seals it with a six, as Australia bulldoze a record run-chase! It was full and fast from Wood, typically so, but Inglis' timing was once again spot-on, just a flick off the pads, and a sprawling attempt at the catch would almost certainly have taken the fielder over the ropes too. What a crushing century!

Wood to Maxwell, 1 run, opens the shoulders once again, and hauled out to the leg-side, for another single

Wood to Inglis, 1 run, firm punch out of the full length, to mid-on for the single

Mark Wood will close it out. He bowled pace like fire in the powerplay, but his figures have been battered since

Archer to Maxwell, no run, decent yorker to close out the over, but England's misery isn't done yet

Archer to Maxwell, SIX, free hit... Opens his shoulders to the slot-ball, gets under the ball with impunity and clobbers it up and over long-on! What a chase this has been!

England look collectively shattered out there, as the umpires try to work out who is on strike. The jeopardy has rather dissipated out there!

Archer to Maxwell, 1 no ball, full toss, holed out to deep midwicket! No celebrations yet from England though, not least because it might be a no-ball on height... it might have slipped out from Archer, Livingstone gathered it well over his shoulder, but we await the third umpire's verdict... it was a slippery 141kph either way. Above waist-height it is! That rather sums up Archer's day
