Dan Kelly wins second bracelet

Trust me, watching live poker in person isn't the most enthralling way to spend your time. Unlike what you'll see on TV or during an online stream, an observer has no idea what anyone is holding or when a big hand will occur. Hours can go by without a postflop confrontation and when it does occur, it can be over in a matter of seconds. To that point, it's really no surprise that Dan Kelly's parents had never experienced watching their son, one of the best in the world, demonstrate his craft. The 25-year-old had already found great success both live and online, and as they stood on the rail of the Event 43 final table, they picked the perfect moment to make an appearance and were able to witness one of the great moments of the Series as their son became a champion once again.

Kelly earned $195,167 for the limit hold 'em title, topping a final table that included WSOP Player of the Year contender Brandon Shack-Harris and a pair of five-time bracelet winners, David Chiu and Jeff Lisandro. This was Kelly's fifth cash of the 2014, following up his incredible 10-cash run last year. He has $2.2 million in earnings on the WSOP felt. His first bracelet came in the $25,000 six-handed event in 2010.

Other notable finishers included Berry Johnston (19th), Sam Barnhart (22nd), Jeff Shulman (25th) and Daniel Negreanu (63rd)
