NEW YORK -- Positive Charge held off Sentimental Union by a
nose Thursday to win the $56,000 allowance feature for fillies and
mares on the turf at Aqueduct.
Positive Charge led by six lengths turning for home but wound up
in a desperate drive under Joe Bravo to get her second win in 13
starts. The time was 1:42.25 for the one mile on the yielding
grass.
Trained by John Pregman, Jr., Positive Charge paid $12.60, $5.80
and $4.80. Sentimental Union returned $5.60 and $4.10. Jambalaya
Joy paid $7.50 to show.
