Astros' Oswalt leaves start against Padres with strained oblique

SAN DIEGO -- Houston Astros ace Roy Oswalt left Saturday
night's start against San Diego after 4 2-3 innings with a strained
left oblique. He was listed as day-to-day.

Oswalt was visited on the mound by manager Phil Garner and a
team trainer in the fourth inning following a pitch to Mike
Cameron. Oswalt remained in the game but was pulled after allowing
consecutive RBIs singles by Brian Giles and Geoff Blum in the fifth
that made it 3-2.

Oswalt came in with a 13-6 record and a five-game winning
streak.
