Carolina Ale House (Greenville, SC)

About the bar (from official website):

During a layover in London, Lou Moshakos found himself in a true British ale house. The warm hospitality and neighborly atmosphere inspired the American version that the Moshakos family opened in 1999, proudly called the Carolina Ale House.

Carolina Ale House has steadily grown into a regional concept without losing the feel of a neighborhood gathering place. Our pledge is to provide first-rate service & award-winning food at an unbeatable value. We are a family-friendly sports-themed restaurant best known for food, sports and fun. Our extensive menu goes beyond the typical sports bar fare to satisfy all cravings and our wide selection of ales is recognized as one of the best in the market.

From open to close, multiple games are aired simultaneously on two large screens and 46 TVs at every Carolina Ale House location. The restaurants' game area has activities for all ages, including pool tables, video games, pinball machines and foosball tables.

Not only does Carolina Ale House serve up great food and fun, it also gives back to the community. Each location regularly donates food, time and monetary funds to a variety of charitable causes in its community and sponsors multiple recreational & club teams throughout the year.

We invite you to enjoy the Carolina Ale House experience, where Food, Sports and Fun rule!

The Carolina Ale House in Downtown Greenville, SC has to be the best. First, it's on one of the most attractive and walkable Main Streets in the country. They offer a great selection of craft beer on tap and bottles. The bars are on two floors with lots of TV's, and the upstairs bar has a retractible glass roof for eating and drinking al fresco. All-in-all, a great experience.
