The skinny: Top-ranked Cornell dominated Virginia Tech, taking 7 of 10 matches, including a pin from No. 3 Mack Lewnes at 174 pounds.

No. 9 Virginia Tech 20, No. 5 Wisconsin 19

The skinny: Wisconsin won six matches, but Virginia Tech received bonus points in all four of its wins, including two technical falls and a pin by No. 5 Jesse Dong at 157 pounds.

No. 1 Cornell 20, No. 6 Minnesota 16

The skinny: Each team won five matches, but Cornell received major decisions from No. 2 Kyle Dake at 149 pounds and No. 3 Mack Lewnes at 174. The crucial points came at 157 where Cornell won by medical default, which garnered them six team points.

The skinny: No. 11 Andrew Sorenson collected a pin at 165 and top-ranked Jon Reader recorded a tech fall at 174 pounds to pace the Cyclones past the Eagles. At heavyweight, No. 17 Kyle Simonson upset No. 2 Ryan Flores. Simonson was leading 10-4 when Flores could not wrestle anymore.
