The Stadium View Bar & Grille 1963 Holmgren Way Green Bay, WI Nominated by: Tim Klemme Tim's submission :In regards to the "Best Sports Bar" in America, there is only one...The Stadium View Sports Bar and Grill in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Located just an empty(no waste) beer can throw away from Lambeau Field you will always find a good times at a reasonable price. Weather you are looking for a cold brew or tall mixer The Stadium View has something for you, 92oz fishbowls or 108oz tower of beer. The Stadium View has hosted many events for all types of people. Jim Rome made Stadium View, stop #5 and drew a crowd of 2,500 people. Big n' Rich, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are just a couple national acts that have played at the SV. With The Stadium View being so close to Lambeau Field you can just imagine Packer Gamedays. If not then let me help, though out a gameday it is not uncommon to have 3djs and 3 live bands playing thoughout the day. There is always a tent setup in the parking lot along with bartenders outside slinging your favorite cocktails or brews. On any given gameday approximatly 6000-8000 people walk through the gates of SV having the greatest tailgating experience they have ever had. Stadium View has hosted some people that you may know Ron Jaworski, Trey Wingo, Tony Kornheiser, Kenny Mayne, Rachel Nichols and Cris Carter. SV prides itself on being a big ol' bar with the home town feeling, no matter where your from. About the Bar : The Stadium View was created in 1992 and has been family owned since. There aren't that many establishment as big as SV that remain family owned and operated. Named - MSN City Guides "Top NFL Bars in America" - Esquires Top 100 Bars in America - Draft Magazines Top football bars in America - Forbes #1 Sports Bar in America (2 years running) As always Stadium View is trying to make your experience the BEST you can have, we never have a cover charge for ANY (including game days) events. Tailgating in our parking lot is welcomed, bring your bike, car, RV, bus, or walk over from one of the close hotels and we will find a spot for you. If you don't have a ticket to the game come inside and pull up a stool. If you can't find a stool in the sports bar, step in to the banquet facility(attached to the sports bar) that holds up to 1000 people and has projection TVs though out. Across from Stadium View there is the Resch Center, home to the Green Bay Gamblers (amature hockey league champions), Green Bay Blizzard(arena football) and the UW Green Bay men's basketball team. Being right across the street from the Resch Center there is always something going on at the Stadium View before and after all events. When the Pack isn't in town stop down and recover from the night before with a bloody mary and start over again with a FREE shot for every Packers touchdown!!
