Last month, Destiny Littleton shot past Cheryl Miller. On Saturday, she squeaked by Charde Houston and became the all-time leading scorer in California girls' high school basketball history.

Littleton, a 5-foot-9 senior guard at Bishop's (La Jolla, California) and a USC recruit, scored 30 points Saturday in a win over Ramona (California) to move past Houston, a former UConn star who was in the stands for the game.

Littleton, who is averaging 51 points per game, has 3,838 in her career. The national mark belongs to Adrian McGowen, who scored 5,424 points at Goodrich (Texas) from 2003 to '06.

Littleton, a 2015 bronze medalist with USA Basketball, is the No. 33 overall prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100. She also is a 2017 McDonald's All American nominee. The McDonald's rosters will be announced Sunday night (10:30 ET WatchESPN/ESPNU). The annual showcase is scheduled for March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.
