Breanna Stewart, the 2016 WNBA Rookie of the Year who is playing professionally in China, led her current team to its first victory of the season in a 100-64 blowout on Thursday night.
In her debut with Shanghai Baoshan Dahua at home, Stewart scored a team-high 22 points, shooting 7-for-10 from inside the arc and 2-for-3 from behind. She also had six rebounds and six assists.
Stewart, who played for the Seattle Storm this past season, missed the first two games of the Chinese season due to registration related issues. The team will play its next two games on the road.
