Fantasy impact of Dalton, Rawls injuries: Deploy Bengals, Seahawks as usual?

Fantasy, Fantasy NFL

Coming in cold off the bench versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, AJ McCarron, the Bengals No. 2 quarterback, threw for 302 yards (25-of-36 passing) and put two touchdowns on the board. Decent numbers? You bet. And while McCarron's total QBR from this past Sunday sat at 39.0 (he also tossed two picks), there are plenty of positives on the tape from the second-year quarterback who was essentially thrown into the fire after starter Andy Dalton went down with a thumb injury.

However, looking at McCarron's game from the perspective of fantasy owners, what kind of fallout will there be for the offensive skill positions in Cincinnati over the next three weeks? And what do the upcoming matchups tell us about how starters such as A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert and Giovani Bernard will produce with McCarron running the show for Marvin Lewis' club?

Let's examine how this quarterback situation will affect the Bengals' next three matchups and also take a look out west at the Seattle Seahawks. With Russell Wilson playing his best football and Doug Baldwin lighting up box scores, the Seahawks offense is rolling. But there is a question mark at the running back position that could affect their production.
