Major-league sources confirm that the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates are in deep discussions about a deal that would send left-handed pitchers John Grabow and Tom Gorzelanny to the Cubs.
As mentioned in my earlier blog, the Pirates are seeking young pitching in return that is at the major-league level.
