McCray's double-double leads Kansas past ISU

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Danielle McCray scored 16 of her 24 points in the second half as Kansas snapped its four-game losing streak with a 58-47 upset over Iowa State (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) on Sunday.

McCray, who finished 8-for-19 from the field, had 16 rebounds for the Jayhawks (14-11, 3-9 Big 12).

Sade Morris added 16 points for Kansas, which led 26-24 at the break and made all 17 of its free throws in the second half.

Iowa State (19-7, 7-5) shot 27 percent and had 12 turnovers. The Cyclones entered the game second in the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage, but converted only 3-of-16 from behind the arc.

Nicky Wieben had 19 points for the Cyclones, who missed their last nine shots.
