Siena 91, Canisius 73

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)Kenny Hasbrouck led four scorers in double figures with 21 points to lift Siena to a 91-73 win over Canisius in a meeting of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's first- and last-place teams Thursday night.

Clarence Jackson added 16 points off the bench for the Saints (17-5, 11-0 MAAC), who won their seventh straight overall and beat the Golden Griffins for the sixth consecutive time.

Already leading 54-46 four minutes into the second half, Siena used a 24-6 run to put the game out of reach.

Alex Franklin and Edwin Ubiles had 15 points and seven rebounds apiece in the win.

Julius Coles scored 16 points for Canisius (7-14, 2-9 MAAC), which had its last lead 26-24 with 8:30 remaining in the first half. Frank Turner added 15 points.

Siena led 46-39 at halftime despite a 58 percent shooting performance by Canisius in the opening period.

The Saints tied their season-high with 91 points.
