FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Jesse Carr scored 17 points to lead Colorado State to a 67-56 victory over Air Force on Tuesday night.

Travis Franklin recorded 12 points and a game-high seven rebounds for the Rams (7-12 overall, 2-3 Mountain West Conference). He was followed by Willis Gardner with 11 points and six assists, and Arin Dunn with 10 points.

Air Force (9-9, 0-5 MWC) led 31-29 at halftime.

Matt Holland led the Falcons with 25 points and five rebounds. Teammate Evan Washington added 12 points, while Andrew Henke had nine.

Colorado State was short four players Tuesday night, including leading scorer Marcus Walker.

Coach Tim Miles announced earlier in the day that Walker and Harvey Perry both were out pending the completion of academic requirements. He also said Dan Vandervieren was sidelined because of back spasms and Josh Simmons was dismissed from the team.

He declined further comment.
