CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Tribble Reese threw four touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Charleston Southern to a 48-6 victory over Edward Waters on Saturday.
Reese, who was 10 of 14 for 163 yards, threw three of his scoring passes and scored on a 10-yard run in the first half as the Buccaneers (6-5) took a 35-6 halftime lead.
Reese hit Gerald Stevenson on a 30-yard touchdown pass to open the scoring. He followed that with a 5-yard pass to Clayton Coffman and a 46-yard touchdown pass to Markus Murry.
He then connected with Kwame Kraku on a 7-yard touchdown pass for a 42-6 lead with 13:39 remaining in the third quarter.
Murry finished with five catches for 100 yards.
Trentt Stewart rushed for 70 yards and an 8-yard touchdown run to lead Edward Waters (3-8).
