Colgate 34, Dartmouth 20

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Jordan Scott had 29 carries for 239 yards and two touchdowns in Colgate's 34-20 win over Dartmouth on Saturday.

His 7-yard run in the second quarter broke a Patriot League career rushing record that had stood for 14 years. With 5,015 career rushing yards, Scott needs 206 to break the Colgate record.

Greg Sullivan, who also rushed for two touchdowns, opened the scoring for Colgate (2-2) with a 41-yard pass to Pat Simonds, but the extra point was missed. Dartmouth (0-1) moved out to a 10-6 lead on a 39-yard field goal by Foley Schmidt and a 6-yard rush by Milan Williams.

Scott scored his first touchdown near the end of the second quarter and Schmidt kicked his second field goal for a 13-13 tie at halftime.

Dartmouth took the lead on Paul Jenny's 3-yard touchdown pass to Eric Paul before Sullivan set up Scott's second touchdown, keeping a third quarter drive alive with a 35-yard pass to Sam Breslin on third-and-34.

Sullivan capped an 80-yard, fourth-quarter drive with a 14-yard touchdown run after a blocked Dartmouth field goal attempt and wrapped up the scoring with his second rushing touchdown, a 31-yard run.

Jenny completed 30 of 48 passes for 343 yards and a touchdown. Mike Galligan caught 11 of Jenny?s passes for 146 yards and Peter Pidermann led the Dartmouth defense with 12 tackles. Sullivan finished with 255 net yards.
