KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Mark Greib threw a touchdown pass and Brian Johnson ran for three scores in the defending ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats' 44-38 victory over the winless Kansas City Brigade on Saturday night.
Grieb was 23-of-38 for 257 yards, and Rodney Wright led the SaberCats (3-2) in receiving with 14 catches for 165 yards.
John Fitzgerald was 17-of-28 for 190 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for two scores for the Brigade (0-4).
