Val d'Isere downhill reset for Kvitfjell in late February

OBERHOFEN, Switzerland -- The men's World Cup downhill
called off last week in Val d'Isere, France, was rescheduled for
Feb. 29 in Kvitfjell, Norway.

The race will take place a day before another downhill at the
Norwegian resort, the International Ski Federation said Tuesday.
The back-to-back downhills could help overall World Cup leader Bode
Miller, who leads 2006 champion Benjamin Raich by 122 points.

Miller has won two of seven downhills this season and is second
in the discipline behind Didier Cuche of Switzerland.

Raich, a technical specialist, will get a chance to make up
points during slaloms in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, on
Saturday, and in Sljeme, Croatia, on Feb. 17.
