Short-handed Clippers face Cavs without Maggette, Kaman

CLEVELAND -- The Los Angeles Clippers played their fourth
straight game without leading scorers Corey Maggette and Chris Kaman, who both were out with the flu, Saturday night in a 98-84 loss to
Cleveland.

The Clippers, who have been battling injuries to key players all
season, dressed nine players for the game.

Maggette averages 20.9 points while Kaman adds 17.2 points and
13.9 rebounds. Kaman missed a game with a left shin contusion
before coming down with the flu.

Los Angeles, which was playing the second a seven-game trip, got
more bad news when LeBron James returned to the Cavaliers lineup
after missing Thursday's game with a sprained right ankle.

The Clippers started the trip with a 104-83 loss Friday night in
Minnesota. They also play the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics,
Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks on their
longest trip of the season.

Los Angeles has played all season without star Elton Brand (torn
left Achilles' tendon) and forward Shaun Livingston (dislocated
left knee).
