Florida A&,M 72, Md.-Eastern Shore 62

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Leslie Robinson scored 19 points and Florida A&M beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 72-62 on Saturday.

The Hawks pulled within six points during the final minute, but the Rattlers scored the last four points of the game to secure their second straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win.

Robinson made five 3-pointers, and scored 13 second-half points to help the Rattlers pull away. He finished 7-of-15 from the field.

Lamar Twitty had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Rattlers, who scored 25 points off Maryland-Eastern Shore's 16 turnovers.

Ernest Maul scored 12 points, Larry Jackson added 11 and Joe Ballard had nine points and 10 rebounds for Florida A&M (7-11, 3-3).

Ed Tyson had 18 points for the Hawks (2-18, 0-4) while Marc Davis added 16 and Gary Lee 14.

Florida A&M led by as many as 13 points in the first half, but Maryland-Eastern Shore closed the half with a 12-4 run to trail 38-36.
