We were asked to rank all the teams in the NFL before the season started. Each team was broken down on offense, defense, special teams, coaching and depth. Depth is a category that can go unnoticed at times, but it is not a surprise the Chargers topped that category. Not only did we think the Chargers were pound for pound as good as any team in the NFL personnel wise, this was also a team that possessed excellent depth pretty much across the board, except at WR.
The Chargers have always been a deep team, but that advantage never paid off as much as it did in the AFC Divisional game against the Colts.
