Fletcher leads Wis.-Green Bay to 88-81 win over S. Dakota St.

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Rahmon Fletcher scored 29 points off the
bench and Mike Schachtner added 19 points as Wisconsin-Green Bay
beat South Dakota State 88-81 on Saturday.

Fletcher made 12 of 14 shots from the field and was perfect on
four free throws for the Phoenix (5-2), who trailed until the
closing seconds of the first half. Fletcher is averaging 10.5
points.

Randy Berry's buzzer-beater at the end of the first half helped
the Phoenix overcome a 10-point deficit in the closing minutes and
gave Wisconsin-Green Bay a 40-39 lead.

The Phoenix shot 63 percent from the field in the second half
and made six of 10 3-point attempts to maintain the lead. The
Phoenix shot 59 percent overall.

Berry chipped in 13 points and Troy Cotton added 12 for
Wisconsin-Green Bay.

SDSU (3-3) built a lead early on the strength of its 3-point
shooting. The Jackrabbits made five of their first seven 3-point
attempts to take a 26-18 lead with just over nine minutes to play
in the first half. They finished the game 9-for-18.

Ben Beran led the Jackrabbits in scoring with 20 points. Kai
Williams had 17 points and seven rebounds, and Garrett Callahan
added 13 points and six assists.

Wisconsin-Green Bay leads the all-time series 3-0.
