ITTA BENA, Miss. (AP) -- Matt Johnson had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Northern Arizona hit 80 percent of its shots in the first half to beat Mississippi Valley State 65-56 on Monday.
Josh Wilson had 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Lumberjacks (3-1), who won their second straight game. It was Johnson's first career double-double.
Zarko Comagic added 12 points for Northern Arizona, which hit 12 of 15 field goals in the first half on the way to a 33-25 halftime lead. The Lumberjacks finished shooting 61 percent and outrebounded the Delta Devils (0-4) 37-22.
Eric Petty led MVSU with 17 points and seven rebounds and Carl Lucas added 14 points.
