BANGKOK, Oct 16 - China and South Korea will be
without their top-ranked singles players for next month's Asian
Hopman Cup, organisers said on Tuesday.
Asian number ones Lee Hyung-taik (South Korea) and Li Na
(China) have been left out of the six-nation mixed team event,
the winner of which earns a place at the Hopman Cup in Perth.
Japan, South Korea, China, Uzbekistan, Taiwan and hosts
Thailand will take part in this year's competition in Bangkok
from Nov. 8-11.
India won the inaugural Asian Hopman Cup last year. The
event follows a round-robin format, with men's and women's
singles and mixed doubles.

China: Xie Yanze, Yu Wang Japan: Ayumi Morita, Kei

South Korea: Lee Ye-ra, Kyu Tae-im
