BOSTON (AP) -- Harvard had three straight fourth quarter interceptions, including one that Steve Williams returned 91 yards for a touchdown, en route to a 27-17 win over Lafayette on Saturday.
The first interception, by Andrew Berry, came with the game tied at 17 early in the fourth quarter. Berry returned the interception to the Lafayette 22, setting up a 40-yard field goal by Patrick Long that put Harvard (3-2) ahead, 20-17.
Lafayette (4-2) drove deep into Harvard territory on its next possession, but Lafayette quarterback Mike DiPaola was picked off by Williams on third down and he returned it 91 yards to seal the game with 6:47 remaining.
John Hopkins intercepted DiPaola on Lafayette's final possession.
Lafayette jumped out to a 7-0 first quarter lead after a blocked punt was recovered by Brandon Mitchell at the Harvard 1. Joe Russo scored two plays later.
Noah Van Niel scored twice for Harvard in the first-half, including a 3-yard reception from Chris Pizzotti and a 2-yard run that gave Harvard a 14-10 lead. The game was tied at 17 at half after Long added a field goal and Kyle Roeder caught a 9-yard touchdown pass for Lafayette.
Pizzotti threw for 174 yards for the Crimson.
DeAndre' Morrow led Lafayette with 87 yards receiving and 52 yards rushing.
