Khannouchi among 3 to withdraw from NYC Half-Marathon

NEW YORK -- Khalid Khannouchi, Jason Hartmann and Karl Dusen
withdrew from Sunday's New York City Half-Marathon.

Khannouchi, a former marathon world record-holder, has a sore
right foot, New York Road Runners, the organizer of the race, said
Tuesday. Americans Hartmann (fatigue) and Dusen (torn calf) also
will not compete.

Khannouchi expects to race in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials
Marathon on Nov. 3 in New York.
