NOVI SAD, Serbia -- Arkansas' Patrick Beverley scored 13
points in the United States' 104-65 victory over Brazil in an
Under-19 world championship game Tuesday night.
Beverley, last season's Southeastern Conference newcomer of the
year, went 5-of-11 from the field. Michael Beasley led the
Americans with 16 points. The U.S. had eight players in double
figures.
The U.S. team faces France on Wednesday.
