around the world: * Italy striker Fabio Quagliarella is happy to stay at new
club Udinese despite his agent saying Manchester United are
among a number of clubs interested in him. The 23-year-old, who scored twice on his first start for
Italy earlier this month, played for Sampdoria last season but
was joint-owned by Udinese, who have won the race to sign him
properly. "I am staying here," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "This

told Italian media. * France left back Eric Abidal is set to complete his move
