LONDON, May 16 - Defending champions Italy will
play their Fed Cup semi-final against France on clay in
Castellaneta Marina, the International Tennis Federation (ITF)
announced on Wednesday.
The U.S. will take on Russia in Stowe, Vermont, with the tie
played on hard courts at a 3,000-seat venue to be built next to
the existing indoor facility.
Both semi-finals will take place on July 14-15. The venues
are subject to a site visit.
