NM State assistant talking with Razorback coach

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Glynn Cyprien, an assistant basketball
coach at New Mexico State University, was scheduled to fly into
Fayetteville on Friday to be interviewed for a vacancy on the
Arkansas staff.

Razorback coach Stan Heath is interviewing candidates to replace
Ronny Thompson, who left the Arkansas staff to become Ball State's
head coach.

Cyprien, who was an assistant for four years at Oklahoma State
under former Arkansas coach Eddie Sutton, has been recommended by
Sutton for the Razorback job.

In addition to NMSU and Oklahoma State, Cyprien has held jobs as
an assistant at UNLV, Western Kentucky, Jacksonville University,
Lamar and Texas-San Antonio.
