Notes: Rice has won 28 of its last 30 games and ends its first season in C-USA with records for win percentage (.917), fewest losses (two) and most series won (eight). Offense paved the way as freshman LF Aaron Luna hit two grand slams and drove in 12 runs on the week, sophomore CF Tyler Henley tallied 11 hits, 10 RBI and nine runs, and sophomore SS Brian Friday hit four homers, drove in 14 runs and extended his hit streak to 20 games.

Notes: Cal State Fullerton clinched at least a share of the conference title Sunday when senior right-hander Dustin Miller threw a five-hit shutout and senior 2B Justin Turner homered. Miller's win gave CSF three starters with 10 wins. Junior left-hander Ryan Paul saved the first two games in Vinnie Pestano's stead.

3. Clemson

Overall: 43-13, 21-6 in ACC (25-6 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 11-2
Notes: Clemson is much hotter than Hansel right now with 15 straight wins. It won the ACC overall title for the first time since 1995. Junior LF Tyler Colvin went 11-for-13 against Wake with three homers, six runs and 14 RBI. Eight of Colvin's RBI came in Friday's drubbing. Clemson's pitchers allowed one earned run and one walk in 27 innings against Wake. Junior 1B Andy D'Alessio homered twice and has 20 on the year.

4. North Carolina

Notes: UNC wins the Coastal Division of the ACC. The pitching staff allowed two earned runs over 36 innings on the week and held opponents to a .134 average thanks to two-hitters Tuesday and Thursday. Junior left-hander Andrew Miller (8 IP, 2 H, R, 0 ER, 11 K) became the school's all-time strikeout leader. Sophomore SS Josh Horton collected six hits and leads the ACC with a .405 average,

5. Oregon State

Notes: OSU clinched at least a share of its second straight Pac-10 title and has 17 wins in its last 21 games. Sophomore C Mitch Canham drove in 10 runs on seven hits in the series. Junior right-hander Dallas Buck threw a three-hit complete game in the opener, and junior right-hander Jonah Nickerson followed with a five-hit CG.

6. Texas

Weekend Series: 9-5
Notes: Ten straight wins quickly turned into a three-game losing streak for the old Longhorns, who clinched the conference title a week ago. Junior right-hander Kyle McCulloch (6 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 ER) left with a lead Sunday, but Mizzou scored three times in the eighth inning. Junior CF Drew Stubbs went 7-for-11 in the series.

7. Virginia
Last Week: 4-0
Overall: 45-11, 21-9 in ACC (8-4 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 10-2
Notes: Virginia finished the season with 20 wins in its last 22 games and set a school record with 45 regular-season wins and 21 ACC wins. Freshman right-hander Jacob Thompson threw a four-hit shutout Friday and tied a career-high with eight strikeouts. Sophomore left-hander/1B Sean Doolittle struck out six batters in as many innings in the opener and drove in five runs in the finale. Thompson and Doolittle became the third and fourth pitchers in school history to win 10 or more games.

8. Alabama

Notes: Alabama won its 14th SEC championship, sharing this one with Kentucky. Senior 3B Matt Downs collected 10 hits and six RBI in the series, including four-hit days in each of the first two games. Junior left-hander Wade LeBlanc (7 IP, 7 H, 3 R, ER, 0 BB, 6 K) improved to 9-0 with a win Friday. Freshman right-hander Tommy Hunter set a freshman record with his ninth win Saturday (CG, 6 H, ER).

9. Georgia

Overall: 38-17, 18-12 in SEC (16-7 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 9-5
Notes: The win streak ended at 13, but Georgia has won 14 of its last 15. Freshman left-hander Nathan Moreau, senior left-hander Rip Warren and sophomore right-hander Joshua Fields combined for Georgia's seventh shutout of the year Saturday to clinch the series and tie a school record for scoreless games. Georgia trailed twice by six runs in the opener before senior RF Bobby Felmy's two-run eighth-inning single gave the Bulldogs the lead for good. Junior 1B Josh Morris homered twice in the opener and has 20 on the year.

10. Kentucky

Weekend Series: 9-3
Notes: Despite losing the series, Kentucky won the SEC Eastern Division and shared the overall title (with Alabama) for the first time in school history. The 42 regular-season wins and 20 SEC wins each set school records. Sunday's shutout was the first for UK in 62 games. Senior left-hander Craig Snipp struck out a career-high 11 batters Friday in his third complete game of the year.

11. Georgia Tech

Weekend Series: 11-3
Notes: Tech won nine of its last 11 games and finished the ACC schedule with a 13-4 run. It outslugged Miami to win the final two games, hitting seven homers. Junior RF Wally Crancer went 7-for-14 with a homer and eight RBI in the series. Senior LF Jeff Kindel homered twice Friday.

12. Oklahoma State

Notes: OSU won its last six Big 12 series to finish second, its best finish since league play began in 1996. Sophomore 1B Rebel Ridling homered and drove in a career-high four runs Sunday. Senior left-hander Brae Wright allowed three runs over eight innings to notch his sixth Big 12 win. Sophomore right-hander Matt Gardner won for the fourth straight weekend on Friday (7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER).

13. Oklahoma
Last Week: 2-1
Overall: 39-17, 17-10 in Big 12 (8-9 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 10-2
Notes: Oklahoma's 39 wins are its most in the regular season since the 1994 College World Series winning squad. Senior right-hander Daniel McCutchen earned both wins for the Sooners. The normal Friday night starter closed that game with two scoreless innings to earn a win and then threw eight strong innings Sunday, recording 11 strikeouts, to win that game as well. McCutchen threw 170 pitches in the series.

14. Arkansas

Notes: Arkansas earns its first sweep of Auburn to finish second in the SEC West. Sophomore left-hander Nick Schmidt recorded a career-best 15 strikeouts in eight innings Thursday. Sophomore C Brian Walker hit two homers in support of Schmidt, and was not hit by a pitch. Freshman 2B James Ewing collected a career-high four hits in front of a season-high 8,841 fans Friday, and junior LF Jake Dugger drove in five runs Saturday.

15. Nebraska

Overall: 39-14, 17-10 in Big 12 (6-4 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 8-3
Notes: The skid continues for Nebraska, which lost its last three series of the year and eight of its last 11 games following a 36-6 start. It fell from first place in the league to fourth over that span. Sophomore right-hander Johnny Dorn (7 IP, 9 H, 4 R, ER) suffered his first loss in eight career decisions with a chance to clinch a series. Sophomore left-hander Tony Watson allowed a run over 6.2 IP Saturday to get the win.

16. Houston

17. Mississippi

Notes: Mississippi is the only team to post a winning record in SEC play each of the last four seasons and leads the league with 70 wins in that span. Sophomore SS Zack Cozart tallied five hits against MSU, scoring the winning run in the opener. He also hit a three-run walk-off homer against Memphis. Freshman right-hander Cody Satterwhite made three relief appearances on the week, earning two wins and a save in five total innings.

18. Notre Dame

Notes: Notre Dame wrapped up the Big East title with 21 conference wins, the second most in league history. Senior 1B Craig Cooper enjoyed a five-hit weekend to earn his third consecutive Big East batting title; he stands as the all-time batting average leader in conference play. Starters Jeff Samardzija, Matt Manship and Tom Thornton produced a strong combined line of 21 IP, 17 H, 3 ER, BB, 15 K in the series.

19. Arizona State

Notes: ASU scored 27 runs in the first two games of the series, but couldn't get to Brad Mills in the finale and dropped a conference series for the third time in four tries. The Devils led 6-0 on Saturday, but couldn't hold on. Junior CF Colin Curtis homered twice and drove in seven runs in Friday's win.

Notes: Sophomore CF Adrian Ortiz went 4-for-8 with two walks in two wins during the week. He's got a 14-game hit streak and is batting .455 during that span. Senior 2B David Uribes suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice Monday.

21. Fresno State

Notes: Fresno State has won 11 straight games and the WAC title. Junior left-hander Eddie Romero earned his 12th win on Saturday (7 IP, 9 H, 3 R, ER). Sophomore 3B Beau Mills homered twice and drove in five runs in the opener before being suspended for the rest of the series for violating university policy.

22. Tulane

Notes: Tulane's 10-game winning streak came to an end in crushing fashion Saturday, as the Green Wave blew leads of 8-0 and 10-1 and surrendered a 10-run eighth inning. Sophomore 2B Brad Emaus has a 13-game hit streak during which he's batting .400 with 13 RBI. That's good at a time when No. 3 and No. 4 hitters Warren McFadden and Mark Hamilton each walked eight times in a series.

23. San Francisco

Notes: Hawaii starters allowed one earned run over 23 innings. Junior right-hander Steven Wright dominated the opener (7 IP, 3 H, R, 0 ER, 7 K) before senior right-hander Justin Costi threw a complete-game shutout Saturday and junior left-hander Ian Harrington allowed the only earned run on Sunday (7 IP, 5 H, ER, 7 K).

25. Elon

Notes: Elon won its first SoCon title and set a school record with 42 wins. Junior 1B Chris Vasami and senior SS Paul Bennett each drove in three runs in the series-clinching win Saturday. Bennett had three hits and Vasami two RBI in the Friday loss.

21. College of Charleston
Last Week: 1-3
Overall: 39-15, 20-7 in SoCon (2-1 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 11-2
Notes: College of Charleston needed two wins against local rival The Citadel to win its third straight SoCon title, but only managed one. The Citadel scored one in the seventh inning and two in the eighth to win the opener and then hung a nine-spot in the seventh inning Saturday to take the finale.

22. Miami

Notes: Miami held on to win the opener before getting pounded in the final two games, in which it allowed seven homers. Hurricanes starting pitchers allowed 13 runs on 15 hits in 10.2 IP over the three games. Junior RF Tommy Giles tallied seven hits on the weekend, including his eighth homer.

23. Winthrop

Notes: Winthrop dropped the series and cost itself the regular season title in the Big South, and possibly a No. 1 seed in regionals. Freshman right-hander Alex Wilson won his 12th game of the year Thursday (7 IP, 10 H, 4 R, 3 ER).

25. Baylor
Last Week: 1-3
Overall: 34-22, 13-14 in Big 12 (9-10 vs. Top 25)
Weekend Series: 6-6
Notes: Baylor won just three of its final 17 road games. The weekend marked the first time Baylor was swept by Kansas State and the first time it has finished below .500 in Big 12 play. Senior C Zach Dillon went 8-for-12 in the series and finished with a .421 average in Big 12 play. That led the league and set a Baylor record.
