Former world champ just missed inaugural team in '98

PARK CITY, Utah -- Former snowboard world champion Jeff
Greenwood, who missed a chance four years ago to make the inaugural
Olympic team, clinched a spot on the 2002 Olympic squad Friday.

Greenwood led American riders in the qualifying round for a
Continental Cup parallel giant slalom.

Greenwood had the fastest time among U.S. men in the qualifying
round, covering the course in 37.21 seconds.
