Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna says he is flattered after being linked with Liverpool and has failed to rule out a move.
Ogbonna, 24, enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, helping his side win promotion back into Serie A, while also earning a place in Italy's Euro 2012 squad.
And after reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United he has now turned heads at Liverpool - something the player is pleased about.
"It is flattering to be linked with Liverpool football club, one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's very famous," he told Sky Sports.
"However, my contract with Torino expires in 2016 and I like Torino as a club. But you never know."
Ogbonna has withdrawn from the Italy squad ahead of the World Cup qualifying games against Armenia and Denmark, due to an inflamed prostate gland.
Italy manager Cesare Prandelli has yet to announce a replacement.
