A new NHL season is finally here, and it's time to bust out the crystal ball -- or spreadsheets -- and dig into what we should expect from each player and team in 2016-17.
That includes projecting the standings points for each team, along with goals, assists and goals versus thresholds (find more info on GVT here) for each player on the roster -- for every club.
We continue the series with the Metropolitan Division, which has a good case for being the NHL's most competitive. After all, it hosts both the Stanley Cup and the Presidents' Trophy winners from last season.
