Running back Matt Forte (knee) active for Jets vs. Dolphins

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Jets running back Matt Forte is active against the Miami Dolphins despite dealing with a torn meniscus in his right knee.

Forte worked out on the field before the game Saturday night and was deemed OK to play. He was a game-time decision after injuring his knee early in New York's 23-17 overtime win at San Francisco last Sunday.

Starting cornerback Buster Skrine is out with a concussion. Linebackers Mike Catapano and Lorenzo Mauldin, defensive tackle Steve McLendon, running back Khiry Robinson, quarterback Christian Hackenberg and wide receiver Jalin Marshall are all inactive. Marshall had just been cleared through the NFL's concussion protocol.

Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill had previously been ruled out with a knee injury. Matt Moore is starting in his place.

Also inactive for the Dolphins: cornerback Jordan Lucas, wide receiver Rashawn Scott, defensive ends Nick Williams and Terrence Fede, and tight ends Thomas Duarte and Dominique Jones.
