Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles out Sunday

NFL, Kansas City Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will not play in Sunday's game against the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium.

Charles has yet to play this season after tearing his right ACL in a game last October. He returned to practice late in training camp but has yet to reclaim the full-time featured back role he had before the injury. Charles did mostly scout-team work in practice this week, and the Chiefs listed him as doubtful for Sunday's game on their final injury report of the week.

The Chiefs will go with Spencer Ware or Charcandrick West as their feature back in Sunday's game.
