Lacy, Adams active, but Packers thin in safety depth

NFL, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Running back Eddie Lacy and receiver Davante Adams are active for the Green Bay Packers for their game Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lacy and Adams were recovering from ankle injuries suffered in the Packers' win last week over the Seattle Seahawks.

Lacy and Adams were listed as probable coming into Monday, as was cornerback Sam Shields (calf). He is also active.

Micah Hyde is starting at safety for Morgan Burnett, who is missing his second game in three weeks with a calf injury. Burnett's strength is run support, and his absence could be a factor with Green Bay facing Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles.

The Packers will also be without backup safety Sean Richardson (ankle).

Other Packers inactives include QB Brett Hundley, CB Demetri Goodson, G Lane Taylor, T Bryan Bulaga and TE Kennard Backman.

The Chiefs' inactives are QB Aaron Murray, CB Steven Nelson, LB Dezman Moses, OL Jah Reid, TE Brian Parker, WR Frankie Hammond Jr. and DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
