DURHAM, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Georgia Schweitzer scored 12 points and Sheana Mosch added 11 as third-ranked Duke used a hot-shooting second half to pound Charlotte, 78-59.

While Schweitzer shot just 5-of-14 from the field for the game, Duke (7-0) hit 65.5 percent of its shots (19-of-29) in the second half to build on a 31-23 lead at the break.

Alana Beard and Rochelle Parent had eight points and five steals apiece for the Blue Devils, who have won their last four games and five of their first seven by at least 18 points.

Duke came up with 18 steals and forced 30 turnovers to overcome 26 of its own.

Alicia Abernathy scored 17 points and Tonika Smith added 12 for Charlotte, which shot 53 percent (10-of-19) in the second half but just 30 percent (8-of-27) in the first.
