CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Nicole Levandusky scored 19 points and Taru Tuukkanen added 16 and 15 rebounds as Xavier upended No. 19 Vanderbilt, 64-60, in their first game at the Cintas Center. Jennifer Phillips had 16 points and Reetta Piipari chipped in 10 in the second half for Xavier (1-0), which opened the season before a school-record crowd of 2,712. The Lady Muskateers shot 44 percent from the field (25-for-56), nailing 9-of-18 (50 percent) from 3-point range. Zuzi Klimesova scored 16 points and Jenni Benningfield and Candice Storey had 12 apiece for Vanderbilt (0-1). The Commodores were hurt when sophomore center Chantelle Anderson fouled out with 3:50 left. Anderson tallied a career-low two points in 13 minutes. Vanderbilt owned a 35-28 edge in rebounding but shot 41 percent (24-for-58), including 4-for-21 (19 percent) from long range.
