Florida State's Jesus Wilson to miss Clemson game with foot injury

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State receiver Jesus "Bobo" Wilson will miss Saturday's game against No. 4 Clemson with a foot injury.

Wilson, a senior, has not practiced with the 12th-ranked Seminoles since injuring his right foot Oct. 15 against Wake Forest, and coach Jimbo Fisher ruled him out Thursday.

Wilson is second on the team with 30 catches, and his 390 yards trail only Travis Rudolph. His 26 career starts are the most on the Seminoles' offense.

"You're talking about a guy who's played in a lot of games, played a lot of ball, played in a lot of big-time environments," Fisher said Thursday.

Fisher said receivers Auden Tate, Nyqwan Murray and Da'Vante Phillips will combine to fill Wilson's role.

The loss impacts the Seminoles on punt returns, too, as Wilson was fourth nationally with a return average of 17.2 yards.

Earlier this season, he returned a punt 89 yards for a touchdown, which was Florida State's first punt return for a touchdown since 2012.
